When starting in the spring, do I have to get water balanced before doing the pristine check and pristine extra? Was wondering if I could do the check and shock simoultaneously while balancing?

We woull like you to balance the water first because the pristine check and extra work better when the ph  is lower and if the alkalinity is low we need to increase it before we start the check.

if the water is clear, then balance add the check wait 4-6 hrs then add the extra , if the water is cloudy or green you may want to shock it with extra then once it clears, balance add the check and skip the extra

i hope this is helpful
