Time for a Mid-Winter Checkup

Make sure your pool stays clear all winter long. Here’s how to perform a complete mid-winter checkup:

1. Pull back a corner or an edge of the cover to gain access to the water.
2. Test your PristineBlue level using the Mini-Test Kit. Full instructions for using the Mini-Test Kit are available here.
3. Top up your PristineBlue level using the maintenance chart in your PristineBlue Pool & Spa Care Guide or on our winterizing page.
4. Cover the pool again.
5. Don’t forget to store your remaining PristineBlue at a temperature above 32 degrees Fahrenheit!
